Scope of our work
A boring.energy characterization is a measurement report. It is not a professional engineering opinion and it carries no PE stamp. It is not a design document, not a construction document, and not a code-compliance review. We make no performance guarantee. Any projection labeled “Modeled” is an estimate derived from a measured window and should not be relied on as a result. Retain a licensed professional engineer for any work requiring a stamped opinion.
What we collect
When you submit an intake form we collect the name, work email, city, building type, and answers you provide. If you choose to share utility bills, we handle them under NDA and only for the purpose of scoping or performing a characterization.
How we use it
To respond to your request, scope work, and perform contracted measurement. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not publish building-identifying data without written permission.
Retention and deletion
We keep intake records while a conversation or engagement is active. Email hello@boring.energy to request a copy or deletion of your data.
Intellectual property
Provisionals filed; conversion pending. Nothing stronger is claimed.
Investors
Not raising on LOIs. Inquiries to hello@boring.energy. Data room only after winter measurement.
